When tragedy struck students in the midsts of climate events, environmental science club members have to work hard to learn why their sponsored wolf pack with its pups were senselessly killed at the hands of the government. They are fed up watching their future suffer from environmental effects of a lack of ecosystem biodiversity at the hand of livestock owners and legislators.

At a moment of historic volatility in American societies, these students decide to fight back, setting themselves on a journey that will change their lives and their state forever. Without experience or money, they build a movement of compassion and shared ecosystem stewardship challenging powerful industries and the politics supporting them. Their efforts result in a much needed dose of hope for a fractured and heartbroken society.

Impact Goal

Leverage the film’s inspirational message to encourage students from communities typically under advantaged on environmental issues to become more civically engaged.

Strategy

• Partner with organizations working towards boosting environmental education among students and people in rural communities, providing the film as a tool for organizing.
• Collaborate with key partners to organize five word of mouth events, raising awareness of the film and campaign amongst target audiences
• Organize field trips for students to movie theaters opening weekend in four theatrical markets 
• Cover transportation costs for schools to ensure there were no barriers to participate.

All donations are going directly to the production phase of the documentary.
